Info Post

The Deviants - Ptooff!  (Angel Air Records, 2013. Reissue)
Bizarre, strange mix of heavy psych and proto punk. Highly recommended. Originally released in 1967.

Aalto –Tuulilabyrintit (Uulu Records, 2012)
Indian ragas, tuvian throat singing and Scandinavian sounds as well as influences from bands like Gong, King Crimson and Pentangle. Very unique album well worth checking.

Hawkwind Light Orchestra – Stellar Variations (Esoteric Recordings, 2012)
Like the old ones from the early 70s; out of this world.

Vibravoid – Delirio Dei Sensi (Stoned Karma, 2013)
Another amazing album by one of the last bands, that really sound like they are from the 60s. Highly recommended.

Bong – Bong (Ritual Production, 2012. Reissue)
Debut. This is a chance for  those who enjoyed Mana-Yood-Sushai to get more into the band's early works.

Ramesses – Possessed By The Rise Of Magic (RitualProduction, 2012)
Unique atmosphere. A-must for doom fans.

Hatfield and the North – Hatfield and the North (Esoteric Recordings, 2009. Reissue)
Originally released in 1974. Canterbury scene supergroup. A very nice sounding reissue.

Sensation’s Fix – Music Is Painting In the Air (1974 – 1977) (Rvng, 2012)
For Italian progressive rock fans a must. Rvng did a beautiful job releasing this recordings by one of the best bands from Italy.

Julia Holter – Ekstasis (Rvng, 2012)
She is doing something special and unique. Art Pop Record of 2012.

Dopelord – Magick Rites (Can’t Tell YouRecords, 2012)
B-horror fan? Oh, you dig Electric Wizard? Grab this one.

Flipron – Firework Shoes (Tiny Dog Records, 2012)
Imagine The Kinks and Bowie. Upbeat psych pop with British accent. Recommended.

Black Vomit – let it come down (Frequency ThirteenRecords, 2011)
I don’t know how you imagine the term “black psychedelia”. Try this. It’s heavy, dark and full of atmosphere.

Ice Bound Majesty - how can we live in a kingdom and never see the throne (Frequency Thirteen Records, 2011)
Another “weird” release by Frequency Thirteen. “Weird” with positive connotation.

Bill Nelson – Northern Dream (EsotericRecordings, 2011. Reissue)
The album sounds naive, gentle, pure and avant-garde at the same time. Probably it was the best way to start a long lasting music career.

Brainticket - Psychonaut (Esoteric Recordings, 2010. Reissue)
No comment. One of the best space/psych records out there.

Bong - Beyond Ancient Space (Ritual Production, 2011)
Incredible live feel.

Ramesses - Take the Curse (Ritual Production, 2010)
Perhaps the most accessible album in their catalog.

Fuzzy Duck - Fuzzy Duck (Esoteric Recordings, 2012. Reissue)
"Reissue has been newly remastered from the original master tapes, includes four bonus tracks taken from the two singles issued by the band and features a booklet that fully restores all original album artwork with a new essay."

Dukkha - Grim Disco (Frequency ThirteenRecords, 2011)
Another weird mixture of dark atmospheric psychedelia.
